Well, Brooklyn and I just got back from Austin Texas for my cousin Teri's wedding. The wedding was beautiful and Brooklyn had a wonderful time. To top it off, we got to see our good friends the Castlemans. We met them in China when they were adopting their second little China girl. Her name is Avery and she is 4 months younger than Brooklyn. I got to spend the day with Carol and Avery and big sister Emily(and Mike too). Carol made us a wonderful lunch(thanks Carol) and we talked until we couldn't talk anymore. I can't believe how much the girls have grown. Brooklyn had a great weekend and was very well behaved at the rehearsal dinner and wedding. She made friends with everyone she met. Enjoy the pictures!
Yesterday Brooklyn was Baptised at our church. Needless to say, it is much easier when they are newborn. But we survived and she had a great time at the party afterwards. Brooklyn thought is was Christmas again with all the gifts. Thanks to our family and special friends for sharing in this important occasion. And to her godparents Larry and Pam, Brooklyn is so blessed! We love you all!!
Welcome to our journey to bring our little girl home from China. Scott and I have been married for 25 wonderful years. He is still my best friend and, we have him to thank for this wonderful journey. It has been in his heart for many years and it is now reality. He is the most loving and wonderful father that anyone could ask for. We have five beautiful kids. Brandon is married to a beautiful girl named Taylor and makes us proud everyday. He is an awesome example for his new little sister. Brittany graduated from high school and is loving being a big sister. She loves to change diapers. Brady and Bryce keep us busy in all their sports and they are so in love with their little sister. And then there is Brooklyn. She is wonderful and not a day goes by that we don't thank God for bringing this special girl to us. We are so proud of all of our kids! Thank you for sharing this with us. We are thankful to have Brooklyn home!
